You know, I can understand how PFAW doesn't like Roberts. he's a republican, worked for Reagan and Rehnquist. Okay. But really "our worst fears confirmed"? Based upon two dissenting opinions in a Endangered Species Act case and Cheney's energy task force?
If that's the worst they can come up with, this is not going to be nearly the fight I was expecting.
You have to expect the left wing groups to raise a stink, that's what they do. They feel as though they need to raise as many falgs as possible. After all, the longer the confirmation, the longer to find the proverbial skeleton.
My guess though is that this will end up to be relatively peaceful. Roberts is conservative, but what do you expect -- elections matter.
