I actually fell asleep in the shower one morning, while standing up. C came in to see what was taking me so long, and I was leaning against the shower wall, sound asleep. But the did the exact same thing a few weeks later. It is a new parent thing.

I'm more likely to forget about the conditioner until I'm trying to brush out my recalcitrant hair. And, no kids but often preoccupied.

I wore two different black shoes into work a few months ago but I don't blame sleep deprivation. The dog and wife were asleep on the bed and I didn't want to wake them by turning on the lights.

I did it before I had a kid. Haven't since, but I have a very hard time trying to remember whether it's my day to shampoo my hair (which I only do every other day).

Yes, welcome to the club. You can also look forward to forgetting to do things like putting on deoderant, brushing your teeth, and....what was the other thing???...Oh yeah, eating. As I rush to get a meal finished, cut up bites, and prepare drinks, sometimes I realize that I haven't eaten all day.
