Thank you so much for sharing that site.
I have brought three children to the world. With my first, I was actually skinnier post-partum than I was before. I had a slightly larger abdomen after the second. The third, however, left me with a very different body.
He's now six and when I look in the mirror, I see saggy baggy skin just everywhere. Since I am in the middle of a divorce, my appearance seems much more important to me. I look so different from the women in media all around that it is depressing. What man would want to be with saggy baggy me, you know?
Sites like Shape of a Mother remind me and others what is truly normal. I've bookmarked it so that I can give myself a reality check. I may never be a size six again but I am strong and I usually have healthy eating patterns.
I have given life to three beautiful beings. Fifty years from now, no one will care if my stomach was flat or not. They will be affected by my children who are my legacy to the world.
