Awesome. I want to be a DWS American too. I think it's sad that the war has served to push those of us who don't necessarily agree with all-things-Republican right out of any chance of voting Democrat.
Funny story: When my younger brother graduated from college, someone who walked across the stage was actually named John Holmes. I cracked up out loud and my parents looked at me like I was nuts. Then they thought I was even more nuts when I said why that name was funny. I'm a whole different brand of conservative.

There's a movie floating out there called M3D, starring John Holmes (he's actually only in one scene). It's a horrible movie with horrible acting, a horrible plot, and it was just bad.
BUT
It was 3D.
They showed it at a local theatre (I'm pretty sure it was the same one Rocky Horror Picture Show appears yearly at), and my girlfriend and I went to see it. We had a blast.
There was something interesting about the crowd. When we arrived there were VWs (of course) an MG, and a couple of motorhomes in the parking lot. The crowd was very diverse, from a young goth couple to several older couples (motorhomes and southern accents), to a gaggle of gay guys. The guys sat in front of us and cracked me up through the entire movie; sharp wits in the lot.
All this in Bakersfield California, one of the more conservative cities in California.
