Thank you. I'm hoping the thoughts come across because the words aren't always that clear and I almost always post the first draft so there tends to be a lot of room for a variance between what I mean and what I manage to get across.

I am trying and am totally willing to try to clear up anything that seems vague.

Well said Kal. The democrats have been driving away moderate people like you for years now. One day they will realize that appeasing their extreme left wing is costing the more vots than it is gaining them.

Good write up.

We truly need a two-party system in this country to keep things in balance, but unless, as you say, the centrist dems can marginalize their extremists, it won't be the Democrats. May be it's time for a new party?
