Communication Overtones Comments

Those are awesome goals ... much more thought-out and detailed than mine were!

The key to success in blogging is content, linking, content, commenting, content, more linking, content, shake or stir, rinse and repeat.

One of the questions people always ask me about blogging is "how do people find you?" It's a combination of reaching out to others, a little self-promotion and the wonders of Google. You're on your way!

Gravatar Thanks for your thought John, I like the idea of blogging being a little like making a recipe from memory. However, I am also glad that there are some AWESOME tools that we can use to get our stuff out there. In the end though, it is all about content, content, content.

Isn't it always.

Gravatar This is great. I never put together formal goals...I think mine have evolved along the way. Thanks for sharing yours with us.

Gravatar Fascinating.

A useful list of common sense tip for bloggers who aspire to build an audience

Don't forget to use blog directories as well.

Kind Regards

Gravatar Glad you all found them useful, of course, these also "evolved along the way." Though I quickly realized that I needed firm goals so that my new hobby didn't eat up all of my work time.

I think I might blog about balance soon, that is, as soon I find some (ha-ha).

Gravatar This is great stuff. Since measurement is a comparative science and you don't realy know what the numbers mean unless you benchmark against something else, shouldn't there by be some kind of a compilation or industry average for PR blogs? Your thoughts? FYI, I have 22 links to mine, Shel Holtz takes the top honors with 304 and Andy Lark has 107.

Gravatar I don't know where to get them. I think we should open this up to the gallery. I will post shortly.
