In late April, I was #3 or #4 for a couple days. But, then quickly floated down to my regular standings.
Not sure if I had reached my "15 minutes of fame" and it was a fluke or I was really that popular. Ultimately, the bigger picture, it has blog rankings have a place, but not a big place.

Mike; Indeed, keeping your head about these things makes perfect sense, especially since we owe any "rank" we have to others.

So, I think that keeping track of Technorati, PubSub and even our stats packages helps to track trends, but shouldn't probably be looked at on a daily basis, except to find out how well a particular piece of content was received.
