Communication Overtones Comments

Interesting story. And this may not help your decision. I vowed never to shop at our Loews in San Antonio because they had their construction crew tear down a tree that was at least 350 years old. It would have interferred with their cookie cutter parking lot. The PR rep said they would have had to have been "innovative" to design around the tree. Heaven forbid!

Gravatar Once again, who is the higher power? I am curious to know what Jack Welch thinks of his protege now...but I guess with all of the money Nardelli is now pocketing, he does not have to care what others think. This thining may primarily be at the top, but it trickles downhill!

Gravatar Corporate America is demonized, but then a story or two, or three comes up to really add that corn cob (versus just a kernal) of truth to the stereotype.

Note to corporate leaders: Dare to be different! Get innovative! Make sure your PR team has the spine to tell you when you are wrong.

Gravatar It's really easy to pick on large corporations these days...but this is an example of a company that really deserves to be called out as clueless. Good post Kami.

Gravatar Thanks Dee, and yes, this one is a real wiener, so to speak.
