Communication Overtones Comments

Gravatar Wow -- Todd already rates a Kami IM-fest? Watch out; he may get a head and decide he's the new doyen of PR bloggers.

Gravatar A BIG head, that is.

Gravatar I like the picture of Todd on your site, Kami, much better than the one he's got on his own blog! Cool.

Good interview. Todd seems like a good guy, and a valuable addition to the PR blogosphere. Must be the name.

Gravatar Thanks for clarifying the head comment, Scott! What has truly made my blogging experience rewarding is the fact that so many of you have warmly welcomed me into the PR/MKTG blog circle. Thanks for that.

And thanks, Kami, for launching your IM interview series with me. It good to know that pay-for-play PR still works. The check is in the mail!

Gravatar Let's clarify things a little.

Scott; I am sure that you will knock him down to size

Todd D; You will always be the first Todd to me. I like the birdman photo too, it came from ToddAnd's flickr stream.

ToddAnd; If you had been around longer than 2 months, you would know that I abhor pay-to-play schemes; however, if you make that plane tickets to Europe for a family of three, I will be sure to send you a postcard.

Gravatar Fun interview. I'm a big fan of both your blogs. So for this post, I felt like the big winner. Kudos to you both for your great work!

Gravatar Dude, those pidgeons are so disease-ridden and bacteria infested. How could you touch such a filthy animal?

Great interview, though. I love Todd. He's a great guy and a great blogger.

Gravatar Give the pigeons a break, I am sure he washed his hands.

Gravatar It was so great to hear about how someone got started in the blogging world. I am a college student majoring in public relations and I am just now beginning to understand how widespread the impact of blogging actually is. For two of my classes, we are required to blog in order to gain experience and familiarity with social media. At first, I was a little skeptical, but I am quickly learning what an asset this can be for PR practitioners. It was great to hear how Todd got started in social media and I will make sure to visit his blog from time to time.

Gravatar I'm right there with you Stephanie.

I'ts crazy to see how this is affecting students and professionals alike. Something as miniscule as a blog website can connect people in a way that I've never thought possible. Not to mention, it's a stupendous way to get buzz floating around about people and events.

This story is exciting to read because, like Stephanie, I too am new to blogging and find it fascinating. The only thing I find difficult is attracting folks to MY blog site. Feel free to stop by anytime.

Thanks Kami for the great post.

Gravatar This is a good start for attracting people to your site. I'll head over there now. Oh, and there is a box where you can add your URL to every comment
