Communication Overtones Comments
At work, I depend very much on a portal to store my thoughts, messages and documents. This virtual file cabinet has scaled down my stacks of dead tree materials immensely. However, after time and loads of info piled in, I forget what key words or topics each document is filed in the system. What was I thinking?
Personally, I do not depend solely on my Treo and Outlook. I keep all my notes on paper in my date book/portfolio. I have been stranded too many times when my system has crashed or failed to connect. My Treo only housees the appointments and reminders of what I cannot miss.
Lauren; I think that information overload is a real issue these days, in paper or in bytes. How we organize all of this is the real key.
