Gravatar Yes, one is advertising, the other is earned (PR). But PR is oft deployed as a marketing tactic. Advertising is another marketing tactic.


Gravatar Oh, I see, we are going to have the argument about who owns PR. It's a tired argument, but hey, I'm game. Often marketing owns PR, often to the detriment of the function. But this is not always so. I am a pragmatist and think that each company will have to decide where PR fits best with its overall goals.
