I love the tie-in with Beth's recent efforts online! Her amazing results really prove that people can and are driving results online and that donors are in fact giving and interested in online spaces. Thanks for taking an interest in the research!

Leo; Excellent point. There is much to be learned. However, on the political side they do have the benefit of momentum and national media. It seems to me that both offline and online efforts combine to make online fundraising successful. You can't just open a Pay Pal account. You have to connect in some way.

True, but presidental campaigns are using social media to make those connections as never before. To be truly part of the campaign and motivated to give, you can feel connected without being tethered to a DC campaign headquarters. It's fascinating to watch!
