I wish I was partying with Douchefork in his limo. Sounds like a real nifty shindig!
The subliminal black text towards the end of the article really tripped me out man!

That's my website you damn troll. Don't imply otherwise.
I will give Pitchfork credit for Architecture in Helsinki. I like them and so does the 'fork.
I'l give a big wtf rating to M.I.A. I mean, she's fine as far as some genric hip-hop/pop thing but I still get confused whether it's her song or a Gwen Stefani song that's on the radio for the first minute. She's just special 'cause she's multi-cultural.

Yeah I listen to electric version more often too. I likewise don;'t understand how you can say that one is worse than mass romantic. Wierd. Mitchum is one of their better writers, usually.
I'd say Pitchfork's biggest moment of ludicrousness had to be when they gave Trail of the Dead's Source Tags and Codes a 10.0.

yeah, they were all over the MIA/Diplo thing which I have never even seen in record store. Its like they want you to download it, what's the point of them reviewing some crazy import bootleg that never even comes out? Then her album, which basically is a rap/dancehall hybrid with prodcution that is a little thin. They are worried about their hipster cred more than actually reviewing stuff. That said, they get a special gold star for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. They get a minus for Fiery Furnaces. I know they are beloved, but if something is really sophisticated an difficult and less accessible, at least say that in the review- don't just say this is amazing and if you don't get it you are a douche. That is for ME to say when you don't like what I like and that's that.

But a 10?? Come on. Save it for the non-experimental musical theatre majors, you jerkwads.

Oh come on, that album is teh win. If someone says they don't like it, well, they've got problems. Rock opera isn't a new tradition. The first song is a little overwhelming but after that...it is pure, solid gold. Maybe not a 10, but a 9+ surely.
I saw em live a few months ago at GAMH and they rocked it there too.
