I actually came up with that hypothesis whilst writing a Family Circus E&P at World O'Crap a long time ago.

Does anyone remember that one website that used to allow peopel to put fake captions on Family Circus cartoons? I think it got shut down, but man was it funny.

The use of the phrase "hot babe" is degrading to females. I am very disturbed with the term and I am calling upon all women to send a troll to visit Yosef.

Yeah send some avenging angel of righteousness (aesthetically neutral of course) to mess up Yosef's shit! And videotape it!

well...being a girl I have to say it all depends on the context but MOST importantly who is saying it. Joe Schmoe on the street just deserves a smacking but my significant other...he can not say it enough.

Totally true story, I was science lab partners freshman year of college with Mr. T's daughter. So in other words, that makes me a member of the A Team.

My friend came out with his wife at their wedding to the A-Team theme. Right after the DJ announced them you hear this machine gun fire, and people look around, and then the Mike Post special just blasts- A-Team Fuck YEah!
Geenie Cola and Pinko could not top it so we came out to Belle and Sebastian's "The Boy with the Arab Strap". Funny how we had a demo of it from 21 years ago.

Damnit. I was feeling nerdy when I thought the ultimate song to walk down the aisle would be the finale from Star Wars. I hadn't even thought about nerdifying the reception yet.
At least I never have to wonder too long about why I'm single.

Back in high school, I was the captain of our academic team- and we had these kickass tshirts wherein the four primary players had their faces superimposed on that very picture- needless to say, I was Hannibal.

I know, that is why you can't top Belle and Sebastian. Greater minds have already out-nerded us, there is no point in trying.

Hell no, your not!
Course- I may trump you: We went to nationals in Myrtle Beach (it kicked ass- we got pounded, but we all got to see the ocean for the first time, which rocked).

We always rocked the shit out of the entrance exam to the college bowl thing- my team was seeded #1, but we didn't quite get the you don't have to wait for the whole question to be read, so of course we sucked. And then I forgot everything I knew anyway.
We had a College Jeapordy champ in grad school- he was MD/PhD- he was a super nice guy, kind of a space cadet, but you can tell he just was speding the money on medical school and not being all flash.

Heh- our problem in Nationals was that our third leading scorer (myself being numero uno, naturally ) shipped off to advanced infantry training in Georgia two days before hand. Damn Iowa National Guard- he just got back from his (if I recall properly) second and a half tour in the Middle East (one in Afganistan- Kabul, I believe) and one and a half so far in Iraq (Karbala and Najaf, I think).

Well... I'm not sure he was ever entirely sane in the first place. He's going back, I imagine, soon- but I have every confidence he'll survive the last half of the second Iraq tour, as he doesn't do convoy duty or patrol, he works with a cargo helicopter company from the ING (along with the dad of another of my friends, then two people I graduated HS with have both just finished medic training and should be joining the unit by New Year- plus the one Ranger two years ahead of me who's in Baghdad, and a supply clerk one year ahead of me who was just drummed out for a psych breakdown after a tour in Iraq And that's in a high school that graduates, at best, 30 a year).

Heh- it's southern Iowa, so take a guess :sigh:.
The Ranger hates the Army because he's pretty libertarian (except the whole "hating Jews and gays" thing) and likes his personal freedom (Yea for blind patriotism! The Army stripping you of your freedom? Pshaw!), but is all too keen on killing quote "ragheads" who quote "attacked us" end quote .
One of the medics, who was one of my better friends in high school, went in so he could pay to go to school to be an MRI specialist, so he might miss out on the Green Zone and go directly to Germany at the main evac hospital for those who need to be at a better place than what Baghdad can offer. He's pretty moderate-lib (like me), doesn't hate the administration so much as thinks their stupid (also like me ). He just couldn't afford school without joining up (they're offering a shitload for a signing bonus... very tempting if you're too poor to get to advanced tech schools).
The girl who is the other medic was also part of our social group- also runs very libertarian (like would vote for that party, Libertarian), but her dad went to Iraq in the first wave, so she "believes in the mission" as it were.
Third tour guy, who is/was her boyfried (not sure anymore) is also very libertarian but is perhaps just a bit too fond of killing things, you know?
The dad of another member of that social group (a stoner who has absolutly hates the administration) is, unsurprisingly, a hardcore religious right Republican. He was in Desert Storm, and has the very noble goal of going himself for a third tour "so that our kids won't have to go" (which, as you can see, isn't working out too well).
I also forgot to mention I have another friend (one of my best ones) at the Air Force Academy. He wants to fly Search and Rescue helicopters. Also against the administration (which is why he got a bit pale when I showed him some articles relating to the Jesusifacation of the AF Academy).

Precisely- no competition for all the hot local women who are attracted to smart, awkward teenage boys (wait... fuck!).
Seriously though- I think we were the most well-adjusted group of guys there (which is pretty sad, really, if you knew us), and one member of our group got some (Catholic schoolgirl from opposing team!)- which is funny, because he turned out to be gay (go figure).
