Here's mine:
1. Crime and Punishment; 9 years (I'm not really sure I ever finished it. Still got a good grade in that Literature class though!)
2. Allman Brothers (They played it almost consistently at the bar I worked at in College.)
3."Make no mistake..." (also anything about open threads, Frist!, and Mars, Bitches! (damn I hate myself for startign that up.)
4. I think it will go retro and people will start wearing the green fatigues again. The desert-colored camo and fatigues is played out, although the snow camo still has street-cred.
5. 0% mainly because everyone is scared of the person who wrote this for pre-emptively calling them out for saying "meme-fatigue". Just goes to show that that guy is the most powerful person alive.

I accept but it won't be until tomorrow. The crack on my LCD, which started off as a teeny weensy spider six months ago has engulfed the entire display in a redish black tarantula of degradation!
My new display arrives this afternoon. Until then, as it has been for the last week or so, it's furtive use of GFoH's 'puter. Shh, nobody tell her!

Oh, and Pinko? About that Johnny Depp remark from yesterday? I'm giving you the finger as hard as I possibly can right now.

So I've bent a pin on the power inverter connection to the LCD. And apparently this power inverter doodad is totally required for LCD functioning! Time to get out the soldering iron and the hammer!!
On yet another completely off-topic note WHAT THE HELL IS UP WITH THE DAILY HOWLER!?!?!?!?! Dude is being totally insufferable. It's getting so bad that I can no longer visit his site with out shaking my head in disbelief. Give it a rest Bob! Take a month or two off! Put down your Al Gore super martyr lunchpail and take up up target practice using a Joe Wilson/Valerie Plame glossy as the target. You're very smart and probably very right on so many levels but you need to learn how to let it go.
Note that I don't have the nad to say this in a post, mostly because I'm scared of being lambasted by Bob, but also in part because I still respect him. I'm just looking for some help/advice as to what's going on.
Oh shoot, GFoH is here. Everybody hide!!!!

I've been loving Bob lately, because hey, people still don't get it. Look at Judy Miller. I am learning about education and stuff too. I just tune out the crazy.

Jedmunds! The fact that you caught that reference makes heart you even harder. ATHF is my favorite thing ever. It is like crack, meth, acid, and X all in one delicious, non-narcotic animated format.

As re: Daily Howler, I used to be an avid reader, but lately it seems like all he talks about is a) standardized test scores, and b) what a tool Adrianna Huffington is. *yawn* It's too bad, because he has some blogging chops.
