Part of the joy of Wonderwall was it's one-time ubiquity and the fact that you still might hear it randomly somewhere, perhaps in a bar, where it comes upon the jukebox and you start singing along to it and high-fiving strangers. Can't do that with the verve.

Ha ha. That is what I love about Jedmunds, he is way cooler than thou, but still has a tiny place in his black heart that has that "high-fiving strangers- we're all the same" mentality. Jenny Ondioline is my favourite song from this shooter. I liked it the first time I heard it and it never gets boring. My only complaint is actually the sound quality - this may be related to the fact that the CD came out in the early 90s, and it has that overall lo-fi quality about it. I like the M. Ward song as well, but it's not his best.
I think the lo-fi is on purpose. I always hear it on my crappy computer anyway, so maybe I don't notice. I'm thinking it's even more awesome than I thought. Sweet Jenny Ondioline.
I begrudge you most of your concerts, Fulsome, but not DB, can't get into it, but I thought you were eschewing sensitive and quiet recently?

I think I'll do a little concert round-up. DB was a lot better live than the album. It was hardly even folk music.
I had bought these tickets long ago otherwise I don't think I'd have gone. Especially not with Jello Biafra in town tomorrow...but nobody wants to go with me!
