Gravatar I too celebrate Day Savings Time.

Gravatar Of course the Pinko dogs are on the clock to the minute, so there is no extra hour. Curse their fine tuned stomachs!

Gravatar Oh, Buck, I'm flattered you remembered. You really should have given the song a higher score, though -- not only because of the kicky Jerri Blank/Poppy Downs reference, but because only I have the antidote to the super neuropoison you just imbibed with your cocktail...

Gravatar I really need to do my Jonah Goldberg vs. Tigerman hitpiece. I am so in lust with Princess Ardala (fictional character GC! fictional character!!)

Gravatar Part of the joy of Wonderwall was it's one-time ubiquity and the fact that you still might hear it randomly somewhere, perhaps in a bar, where it comes upon the jukebox and you start singing along to it and high-fiving strangers. Can't do that with the verve.

Gravatar Maybe in England you can.

Ha ha. That is what I love about Jedmunds, he is way cooler than thou, but still has a tiny place in his black heart that has that "high-fiving strangers- we're all the same" mentality. That is not an American thing at all. Americans are lame that way. Go to a soccer game anywhere else in the world and people are dancing and singing the whole time. Go to an American football game and you are asleep because it is so gd boring because of all the time outs. Advantage=foreigners and Oasis. CURSES!!!!!

Gravatar Wait, two questions 1) Can we not have love The Verve song and had a SEGA? Because I think I am guilty of both sins. 2) Are there people who don't lament the passing of Tripping Daisy? Those people are fools.

Also, Destiny's Child...on a Friday, seriously cobag move...wth is wrong with them. ooh, look at us be all anti-hipster with our bizarro love for ridiculously mainstream R&B.

OK, off to see Devendra Barnhart, back in a few hours

Gravatar Jenny Ondioline is my favourite song from this shooter. I liked it the first time I heard it and it never gets boring. My only complaint is actually the sound quality - this may be related to the fact that the CD came out in the early 90s, and it has that overall lo-fi quality about it. I like the M. Ward song as well, but it's not his best.

Gravatar I think the lo-fi is on purpose. I always hear it on my crappy computer anyway, so maybe I don't notice. I'm thinking it's even more awesome than I thought. Sweet Jenny Ondioline.

Gravatar I begrudge you most of your concerts, Fulsome, but not DB, can't get into it, but I thought you were eschewing sensitive and quiet recently?

I hope it is a good time nonetheless.

Gravatar I think I'll do a little concert round-up. DB was a lot better live than the album. It was hardly even folk music.

I had bought these tickets long ago otherwise I don't think I'd have gone. Especially not with Jello Biafra in town tomorrow...but nobody wants to go with me!

Gravatar F- you gots to give out some candy on your bloggo.

Also, I totally would go to JB but I am HOSED until next week. I have been working NON-STOP. Cobags to the left and right.
