While we did have snow and ice here in Austin last night, yesterday was such a warm day (70s, I think) that there was no effect on the roads.

I hear you! My husband's grandmother was moving faster than me yesterday, and she's broken a number of bones on this lethal ice. And since I'm a Californian, this stuff is REALLY foreign to me! Walking the dog is becoming some sadistic form of Russian Roullete...

Yeah, it went from like 80 to freezing in one day, so none of it stuck. Looked pretty on the rooftops early yesterday morning, though!

Karla, you have no idea about cold and suffering. It was like 33 degrees here AND windy AND snowing!! People were making little turd snowmen with Skittle buttons. I actually had to use the DEFROSTER in my car for piss sake!! Ha!! Norway. WHUTEVER!!
