Yea, Since 2003, I've had SEVEN Western Digital drives fail within 2 years (and not heavy use either). You'd think I'd learned after the 3rd or 4th one, but the prices were SO LOW it was. . . it was irresistable!

I've been going with Seagate on the PC at home. One of the Macs at the studio has a HEAVY use Maxtor drive that's almost 5 years old (and I used to have Maxtor's crap out).

Go figure.
