Gravatar Thanks for the review! I've also been hunting high and low for the "just right" program for page building. I've grown tire of the steep learning curves as well and didn't want to invest in pay someone to do another site for me but I also wanted to move away for the high maintenance of Wordpress as well.

I was just about the get heavily invest in RapidWeaver because of all the 3rd party support gizmos but that was getting a litte ahead of my real purpose.

What I needed was a program that would WYSIWYG but also generated a sitempa and real compliante HTML code that would allow me to build search engine friendly sites that way I wanted to.

Yes, RapidWeaver does all of that with one glaring exception in mind for most of the templates I've checked...it generates javascript for the all the nav bar text. I checked several tempates for Sandvox and it seems to generate real text for the text links. Very important to me in creating seo pages for target search.

I'm sure some would beg to differ but I think the home page links point to interior pages need to have the ability to be crawled and and not just reply on the sitemap.

I've only been working with Sandvox for a few hours but soo far it is looking quite promising.

Best Regards,

TL

Gravatar Hey TL!

Thanks for stopping by my site, and thanks for the kind words. I came to many of the same conclusions as you when comparing RapidWeaver vs. Sandvox. And though I really like some of the aftermarket add-ons to RapidWeaver, right now I'm exclusively using SandVox.

I hope it has and will continue to work well for you!
