Hello!

I found your blog from your title everyones child and I find this post interesting. It does sound like it was a frustrating situation, I understand since I have worked in peoples homes and know how frustrating working with parents can be. Did you ever consider that at the end of the day staff are following orders and she may have received correction for over using a theraputic hold? Parents have a responsibility as well. Some parents maintain total control over their homes and just have staff for back up, other parents allow staff to maintain control even if they are home. It's not black and white what staff should do in every crisis situation.
