It is Kindegarten school you teach at, I presume? Little kids etc.
These art projects seem a tad overkill for my european perspective. Then again I was always a dosser at school.
Not to worry.
If your contract goes south, numerous kindergartens and schools need teachers.
You could pick up a new job without great difficulty.

It's my impression that there's always demand for native English speakers. So I wouldn't be worried about a new opportunity in case things do not work out.
However, give it a try once more. Sometimes, you gotta do what you're not really in to it.
