Aw that stinks. Still, you have to live your life. I think I've made too many sacrfices because of my family and I've grown accustomed to being near them all the time. And now at my age I'm trying to finally move away to find a better job, better men, better everything. Family is family, no matter where you go. Not all of them are super close, but they seem to always find a way to stick together.
I think sometimes people, myself included, think the family problems they grew up will eventually sort themselves out in time and that, with age, they'll form the bonds they always wanted with their family. But family, just like everything else, only works if you put some effort into it. Like I said, I'm guilty of not trying as hard as I could and my family relationships have suffered because of it.
I will work back into the archives and see if I can tell why you are so far away. I have family in three states and it does present difficulties I find that I am closest to the ones that I am closets to
