I don't think it's too healthy to be single for too long. That's one ailment I hope I'm not afflicted with for too long.

No it really isn't, and I'm almost worried that it'll be too much of a shock to my system that I have a boyfriend whenever that happens. The reverse of "I can't call him" is "What are you doing here and who are you again?"

I think readjusting either way--to being single or to having a relationship--is like stepping from a freezing room into a furnace room. It takes a while to get used to it.
I'm finally comfortable with being single again. I had a little conversation with Larry today, and I felt okay afterwards, rather than being filled with fury and resentment and grief. I agree that it's very important to spend some time being single between relationships, to "rediscover" yourself. And I agree that it's difficult being single for a long time.
