When in doubt of a career change do what I do, ask someone who is doing it. Contact another paper that has a CD reviewer and ask to do an information interview (pretend you are a college student working on a project or something). Ask him/her anything you want about the job and see if it is right for you.

I could do that...I've done reviews before. I'm just worried I guess about length but experience tells me that in a situation like this it's better to have pore to pare away than less and have to scrounge for more.

Hey if anyone can review CD's all day it would definitely bw you. We entered a quiz night here in Chiang Mail last night and come music round where we got about 5 out of 10, we thought "where is Kate when you need her?"
