When I saw that movie, I wished they'd focused more on the readjustment aspect. Most people (especially you) can identify with huge life changes, or huge upheavals. It would be nice to see it done on screen. And people tend to overlook the amount of courage that an uprooted person must have in order to readjust.

A suitable sequel would be to show him how his choices were perhaps never his choices after all.

You are not going to believe this but these holidays and watching all our movies and I'll say to Mark.."so what do you think happens after the movie?" So we came up with post endings to a few movies like Love Actually, the Day after tomorrow and a few others. Then Mark suggested(half seriously I might add) that we should write a book called like "after the credits roll" or something lame like that and give a stupid post analysis of an ENDING ending to movies. I just think it's funny that you wanted to see a sequel to Castaway!!
