great posts dude...I noticed you didn't mention any rb prospects, considering whats rumored about torrence and all.
Does Henton transfer if Pryor joins Ohio State?

Great analysis and thanks for the updates on some of the recruits not named TPryor. As it stands today, I am really excited about this class. We have some great O linemen coming in and some playmakers at skill positions and on defense as well.

Good point about the RBs. Devoe is out of the class so there's a chance OSU may go looking for another. Andre Dean in Texas got some ink a few days/weeks ago but it appears we have cooled on him or he's cooled on us.
We do have a running back that we are recruiting, his name is Pryor.
I just dont think RB was our biggest fear at this point.
Henton will stay.
I hope TP signs on the 6th, if he goes any longer i say we cut ties this kid and his ego scare me. I could be very wrong and he could sign on the 6th and say he was a buckeye all along, but as for now i wouldnt be suprised if he went to oregon and shocked everyone just for the pub.
Nice update. I had no idea there was another Whitner, let alone the fact that he's "beefy". Is Rivals calling him fat?
Henton will definitely stay, I'm not sure why everyone assumes Pryor is better and would jump him in the depth chart automatically. I'm not as confident that he'll be a Buckeye (90%is high!) as most seem to be, mainly because he might have to wait his turn a lot like Perriloux has done at LSU.
They have Lamar Thomas coming in next year at RB. I think they slotted him at WR, but the kid looked impressive running behind Mike Adams at the Army All-American Game.

Pryor will not go to Oregon, especially since he no longer plans to visit the school.
He want's to play in front of 100,000.
I would agree Oregon is out. I am not convinced Pryor is going to announce on signing day, though. He seems to love the attention. Hard to blame him, too.
The reason we are not chasing a runningback this year is because next year's class has depth. The #1 Rb, and some say the #1 overall player in the 09 class Bryce Brown has high interest in Ohio State.
If Pryor has such an ego, why would he hire someone (Charlie Batch) to speak for him. Sounds to me like he is legitimately thinking things over and wants some mentoring/someone to take some heat off him.
He might also go past signing day because he wants to visit another place and there isnt time for him to go with High School all week and basketball on the weekends. He knows everyone would wait for him.
I may be confused, but I thought this class was supposed to be small this year (~15-16) due to the lack of available scholarships? Not that I don't think the coaches know what they're doing, but if that is the case, aren't we going to be in trouble considering we still have a few more players on the board and most of the juniors are returning next year? I hope I'm wrong...

We're having a good number of transfers, plus Gholston left, plus Barrow not returning. This opened up a few more spots for us to take some instate kids like we did.
im a huge buckeye fan all the way down here in he peach state, i actually go to the same high school as keith wells and have a few classes with him, and in statistics the other day he got called out of class because jim tressel was in the front office waiting for hiim
