In French, there is a phrase, "de luxe"--where we get our English word by sticking the two French words together. It means "of luxury". I think it is more about Versailles and chateaux than Palms/Culver City though.
lol! you're so funny! and yet you're not making anything up... hope and pray you'll find your "luxurious" apartment soon! i mean, "radical."
We got one! Not too bad. I like the street and it's near some restaurants and stuff. It's not ideal, but should be a good place for the next couple years. Hopefully we can get a house by then.
