I totally agree with you. How sad. And how strange that they only stole the hosts, and not the chalices.

Because they just don't *get* it. Just like when Ebay was selling consecrated hosts online. Their first response was, "Well, too bad, it's an open marketplace." And, I suspect that they just couldn't wrap their heads around a belief in the Real Presence.
We are as foreign to most people as aliens landing from Mars would be.
