Their own, Renee. According to their website:
(romancatholicwomenpriests.org)
"The Roman Catholic Womenpriests formation program is broad-based and includes the following areas:
* Theological Studies
* Sacramental Preparation
* Liturgical Practice
* Spiritual Discernment"
So there you go!

I have two questions; one being ... in your profile ... you use the word 'sex' as describing our 'gender'. I have long waited for everyone ... to join me in the title as I was taught in English class at an all girls Catholic school.
>>>And most important ... now that they THINK they are Catholic priest ... where do they intend to do 'their priestly duties' ... since they are excommunicated ... AND CANNOT RECEIVE THE EUCHARIST ... MUCH LESS ... SAY A MASS ... AND TURN ... THE BREAD AND WINE ... INTO ... OUR SWEET JESUS, AS HE TAUGHT US TO DO.

Macile, cher...what a joy to "see" you, too!
Regarding the term "sex" vs. "gender"...after much thought and deliberation, my answer to your question is......
::::::: drum roll :::::::
I dunno.
As for where the ladies are going to attempt their "priestly" duties? I expect at home among friends or at a misguided Protestant church.
Lee Ann...sheesh!
All kidding aside, though, please keep these ladies in your prayers. Thanks!

Definitely, my prayers are with these misguided women.
Me thinks that gender and sex are interchangeable in common American language useage. Me thinks that sex has become a verb as in "having".
I have not heard of anyone having "gender".
Just saying...

You crack me up, N/W Sissy. And about these women ... if they do not say Mass in a Catholic Church ... I say ... let's stop calling them 'Women Catholic priest'. So waht is that organization called ... Ohe, yeah; RomanCatholic Womenpriest. Soooo out goes the RomanCatholic; and you have left ... womenpriest (note lower case w) and are not longer thought of as Roman Catholic (note space to create two words)THAT IS ... UNLESS THEY REPENT AND GO TO CONFESSION.

Linked to this at my site - I liked the 'broad-based' comment so much, I had to use it for the enjoyment of my readers (like, all 12 of 'em!).
Have a blessed day!!

As someone who knows one of the womenpriests, I can honestly say that she is a woman of integrity, honesty, dignity and incredible intelligence.
For the record, she holds 2 Doctorates, both got from catholic universities; has many long and fruitful years as a spiritual director to Jesuits and other long and good standing members of the clergy who still support her and has been a spiritual leader to many women and men of faith through parish and retreat work.
In order to see women as priests, one must first ask "What does it mean to be PRIEST?". If you concentrate on the adage "Jesus didn't pick women as his apostles (but did pick them as his DISCIPLES), then you are concentrating on the HUMAN JESUS only (a heresey...). Becuase there were only men then, there's only men now... BUT... That leaves out an essiential teaching of our Church.
If on the other hand you see that 'in locus Christi' (no gender in latin, btw) means being in the person of the divine Christ, then all are not only able to serve but gender cannot come into it as it is the Divine Person who needs to be represented and ALL can do that, wherever that is needed. Isnt' that one of the many purposes of a priest?
Remember sisters, her
heresey is dangerous because it contains a grain of truth. And the grain of truth here is that the HUMAN Jesus was the only part of the Godhead to choose his sucessors; If that is so, then all priests stopped with the 11 Apostles. And we know that did not happen. And the Church has demeaned that vocation over the centuries anyway so maybe it is time we paid attention to the Holy Spirit...?
Just a thought...

Lisa,
Thank you for visiting.
Your comments may be factual, some of them anyway — I believe the lady earned 2 doctorates, I certainly believe they were earned from Catholic universities, and I sincerely believe she tried to spiritually direct Jesuits.
But that's about it.
This, on the other hand, is not true:
the HUMAN Jesus was the only part of the Godhead to choose his sucessors;
Is that what you meant to say? Somehow I think you're trying to say something that might make sense but you're struggling.
Try again. You've lost me.
