Yes, that first sentence might profitably be rewritten: "... Zenit ran an article stressing the need for all of us, especially women, to pray for priests."
Very, very sad about the brothers Nibler and their friend. I remember Fr Jim from my days of attending Mass at the Chapel in the mid-1990s.
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord;
And may perpetual light shine on them.
May they rest in peace. Amen.
I will also add my prayers to yours. Our diocese as well is suffering from the lack of priests. May God bless the Church with good, faithful and inspiring servants.

I am a parishoner and youth minister at St Peter's who regularly crabbed / fished with Father Jim and Larry. Curtis and Larry where both very active Knights of Columbus members who contributed countless hours to the surrounding communities and our parish. Our hearts are broken right now but we know that their mission for the Lord was complete. We appreciate all of your prayers and will add yours to our list as well. We are lacking in the number of priests avaialble for all parishes and when you lose one as special as Fr. Jim it cuts even deeper. God bless and thank you from all of the Parishoners of St. Peter's.
