I think we reached the apex of race relations in the late 70s and early 80s. Up until that time, things were getting better. At the time, for the most part, people were at peace and the races were at peace.
Since that time, race relations have gotten much, much worse. Why? Because blacks like Jesse Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg WANT THEM TO. Those people work hard to drive a wedge between the races because they make their living off being offended.
Unfortunately, in this country that used to be the land of the free, you no longer have a right to not be offended -- not as long as the government continues to enforce thought crimes under the title of "hate" crimes. We have lost any concept of a first amendment.
Oh yeah, well you're short so there.....
