High gas prices are driving people to use publicly subsidized transportation that gets part of its funding from fuel taxes. As a result there are less fuel taxes to spend on public transportation, and public transportation is having to spend more money on the high priced gas that caused its ridership to increase in the first place.
All part of "the plan"!
I, for one, am physically incapable of riding a bike to work, thanks mostly to the immigrant who rear-ended me three years ago. I'm still suffering from the injury and the treatments I have to undergo every month. Besides that, commuting via bicycle on the roads I must use to get to work is out of the realm of possibility with regard to safety.
Good post, Kender!

You are so funny!!!
We don't need government to make our choices for us; if we want to make dumb choices, we should be allowed to make them.
It's called LIVING IN THE WORLD OF GROWNUPS.
