I was a cub and scout member of the 3rd cork in the 60's and have great memories going hicking out to knockna horagan...and also fota..also doing bob a job around mayfield and barracks area best job i had was behind the bar in the fox and hounds i got a big meal and money for nyself for cleaning glasses....we had great stories abount the fenians and fionn and sentanta..i can recall my mother buying me my gear down the steps of st patrick.s church.gear was expensive then .and i still have my scout whistle.....thanks Mam....
i went to st patrick school and have great stories.....i was honoured and humbled to been a member of the 3rh cork...............thank you for allowing me this wonderful space the scouts are very important ...it forms character and will always be with you
if i am in cork sometime i would love to call and share a story

Im a watch leader in skerries sea scouts and we are trying to organise a watchleaders training weekend around the 20th of feburary. I was wondering if you had a scout den we could stay at or if yous no anyone who would have a den. Even a cheap hostle. We are desperate!!!!
