I grew up with TOS in the late 60's and I can tell you that Abrams ruined it for me. Anyone who knows and has followed Original history of Star Trek should be ashamed of this new Star Trek.

All of my friends that have seen the new movie say it's great. Kurt and I need to get a sitter to dump Alison on and go see it. Of course, I liked ST:TNG and the other TV shows, so I don't particularly care what the hard-core, "original-series-canon-must-be-obeyed" types think.
