I'm fairly positive Harrison Ford wouldn't have signed on to a bad film of one of his most beloved characters (for both him and the fans...)
so I've got good feelings on this one...
I was with you until you got all excited about HellBoy and dissed Speed Racer. Tisk, tisk! I LOVE Speed Racer! I used to watch it in my PJs, drinking chocolate milk at 5:30 AM while Mommy contemplated waking up and making me breakfast... (30 plus years ago...). I may actually go see it!
I think your friend Jason Marcy is too hopeful regarding the latest Indiana Jones film. I do hope he's right, though! I have serious doubts Harrison Ford can still pull it off. This will be the test to see if he can keep up with the likes of Sean Connery -- you know, in the over-the- hill-but-still-sexy category.
... and X-Files 2?? Really? I think we are the demographic for this one and I had all but forgotten about Mulder and Scully. They aren't even in reruns on any of the 700 cable channels I regularly watch...
