Ah, Kissfan-you nailed it. My husband and I were talking about that when we were waiting for the terrible news. He said, and has always said, that the dems need to go back to what they do best. Grassroots. The local level. To be in touch with it's base again.
As I read your second part, I almost started ctying...again. I'm mad. I'm sad. And I'm just plain bewildered by all of this. I, too, feel the same way about Bush.
