What concerns me is that the general public actually seems to buy these claims. In a recent poll, a significant portion of the general population responded that they believe Iraq had weapons of mass destruction prior to the invasion. Talking to one of my conservative friends, his justification for this belief is as follows, "Give me a billion dollars and a nuke and I can hide it so that you'll never find it." Right. Uh-huh.
I need to read the report - it was taking a long time to open so I guess I'll read it in the morning.
