I feel a little stupid, I left the following comment on the posting below this one. Here we go again.
"we have to be right one hundred percent of the time, and the enemy only has to be right one time"
Man, I can't believe Dubya is still using that old nugget. Obviously, we are not right one-hundred percent of the time, or we would be spreading our Homeland Security funds a little smarter.
The way it is now, Montana gets the same amount as New York, Florida, Texas or California. I'm not saying there won't be a terrorist attack in Montana or Wyoming, but one bomb might kill one person, a coyote and an imaginary Jack-a-lope. Of course, the neighbors five miles away would probably hear the blast echo across the land and hop on their horse to check it out.
I think it's ridiculous. We could spread that money out and better defend our docks, chemical plants, nuclear power plants, etc. Let's put the money where it is most needed.
Sorry, I get a little edgy about this when I think about it too much.

Don't worry about it. The comments on this page have been screwed up since day one. I don't understand why, but they keep going in above the post.
