I wonder what Bush Co is going to say when immediately following the elections the new government in Iraq up and says "Okay, thanks for your help, but would you please get the hell out now..."? Then within six months (or less) we see the clear collusion between the new government (which we helped get elected) and Iran. Talk about biting off your nose to spite your face!!

Here's my prediction:
Right after the election on Dec 15, we'll see a slight pull back in troops to the pre-January election level of around 130,000. Then we'll hear the administration crow about how well the Iraqi forces are doing and that their training has shown a dramatic increase. Then we'll see small amounts, maybe 1,000-2,000 per month draw downs throughout the first half of 2006. This way Bush can say "See, we're bringing them home because we're winning." Then around Sept. or Oct., we're going to see a massive withdrawal of troops from the relatively secure areas of the country. We'll leave just enough to maintain Baghdad and the rest of the Sunni area. Then Bush and the gang will hold their breath and cross their fingers in hopes that all out chaos doesn't erupt before the November elections here in the US. This way, they can run on the perception of a successful mission in Iraq and their "military genius." JMHO, of course.
