The UK Europe and Allied forces lost more than enough in two world wars.
We surely can remember their sacrifices in a European none Marxist way.
Before too long, we shall be forced to show sympathy and rememberence toward terrorist forces that today are killing Western troops in Afghanistan.
God-Bless all those that made the ultimate sacrifice with their lives for our freedoms'.
Sadly today, were they to return what would they say, just a few decades on from one evil to another, this time encouraged by our own politicians?
The wikipedia "article" features this sentence:

I know it's only wikipedia, but it's a good word to use 
You are unfamiliar with that word? I thought it was a generally known word for a blanket search or manhunt.
During the war we even had 'bike razzias', in which the Germands would stop anybody riding a bicycle to confiscate their ride. The bikes would be either shipped to Germany or commandeered by the Wehrmacht.
Talk about offending Dutch sensitivies!
