I assume that this pseudo-science was designed specifically to make people in Western developed nations feel 'guilty' for yet another reason, and thus make it Politically Incorrect to speak out about massive third world immigration into our lands.
About 20+ years ago I used to watch the Open University broadcasts; I recall one in particular, in which a group of 'scientists' concluded that the future of the world was Black because the White race would die out because of ' Global warming'.
I am shamed to say that I actually believed this to be true at the time!

Yes, join the club, as our cousins from across the pond are wont of saying.

It has been only been 5-7 years that I lost my faith in AGW. Before that I was a devout warmist, cursing the US for not ratifying Kyoto.

And then I started reading blogs...

Had it not been for blogging (mine, and much more importantly, the sterling work of others), I would still be wandering in the dark, scared of my own shadow.

Thank the Lord there are blogs... And a few good men and women to fill them with meaningful content.
