I hope that the EU pressures the minister to go back to the courts, and if that does not succeed, to go to the EU courts, where they will most certainly succeed.
This may sound self-defeating, but I believe the EU cannot allow even the smallest rebellion to succeed, for that will bring about its end. OTH, by being greedy in attempting to get everything, crushing even the tiniest of opposition, it will destroy itself.
That is the good news. Either way, the EU's goose is cooked.

This may sound self-defeating No. Actually, this sounds like the most likely scenario for the coming weeks.
But it will create even more resentment, feeding the insurrection that is sure to arrive amongst as sometime in the near future.

In Barnsley South Yorkshire a pub in the town has declared itself to be also a research area into smoking.
Whenever a smoker enters the pub they fill out a form regarding their nicotine habit.
Another fifty pubs are looking into becoming research centres also.
An apparent loophole was taken advantage of.
Should the loophole be closed, then perhaps a new religion for smokers should be founded, after all their human rights to practise whatever they claim to be part of the said religion
would be protected, after all when that claim is made anything goes.
Definetely- Bollocks To Brussels!!
