Well, you see. They changed Spiderman a little the way they changed John Constantine.

Peter Parker in the comics built his own webslinger. But in the movie it was changed to a natural webslinger. Means he didn't have to go through the trouble of inventing one.

Having a natural webslinger can also mean he has an unlimited supply of web.

I'll still watch the movie, not because of the differences between the movie and the comic, but it's the storyline and movie effects that i like.

I like that you wrote this. More people need to critique HOLLYWOOD films as they are not always so great.....I was trying to find out the origins of spidey when i came across your website. you have no idea what your talking about. every marvel movie thus far has "tweaked" the characteristics of the heroes we've grew up reading.

IE. iceman being a kid 'bout to join the xmen meanwhile he was actually a founding member back in the early 60's. How about the Kingpin being black? daredevil being a horrible actor?

So in closing, if marvel wants to tweak the storyline due to time management or any other reason they see fit, let them....or you could always put up the multimillions it costs for these films.....SUCKA!

I agree that losing the natural webslinging thing detracts from Spiderman's other abilities as the leader of all super heros. I agree that both the first Spiderman and the second Spiderman are only good enough for K-6. If you are older than twelve, it must be obvious why the Spiderman movies really suck and MARVEL ought to be embarassed of them. My suggestions to you would be first, come up with other reasons for "hating" something than just the one and second, don't go on-line and tell the world you "hate" something and then tell them you haven't even seen it (ie. Spiderman 2). That is proof of narrow-mindedness and prejudice. It appears as though you want to influence educated, interesting people, but with that kind of approach you will only influence followers and maniacs.

It's obvious the webslinger was the reason. Which also indirectly lead to the reason that Spiderman isn't all just webslinging......but more brains than brawl....

I have no problem with the movie or the modify storyline, I just don't like the character changes.......

And no, I don't care if you or any other people think about me...... I only says it like it is..... the bare facts of it.......

before this Hollywood Spiderman, there used to be one Peter Parker that uses his brain more than his webslinger....and the webslinger isn't his only ability......
