Wah, isn't that kind of extreme? So when TMnet's DNS prevents you from accessing blogger.com, you don't call up TMnet guys got support, but call up God to 'show you the right way'.
Not insulting your 'God', but I believe that's a little extreme.
uzyn, you have miss understood. What I really want to say is that in process of trying to publish that entry, I hit a brick wall, or you can say God,or someone or something is trying to prevent me from publishing that entry. So, I ended up publishing this entry instead. I also was saying "that entry that I originally intended to publish was never meant to be". It was as if God didn't want me to publish it yet or want me to change something. I have had this type of situation before. I try to do something, but somehow there are forces trying to prevent me from doing it.
You have really miss understood the meaning of my entry.
Hahaha, screwed up? How about see it in a different way. Probably if you had given the gift, you thought something is going on well, the girl dropped you for another guy and now, you are going to blame God for giving you someone and then, take her away?
As for me hor, sometimes, I wrote something in anger and God saved me! It failed to publish. And I take it as a whisper from God to keep my thoughts private.
Frankly, it is very easy to blame God but not ourselves. So God always become the 'tai sei kwei'.
lilian, I was thinking the same thing. That's why I said maybe God didn't want me to give the Valentine's Gift. Or something like that.
And I don't blame God.
The title already said it "I Believe In God".
Don't worry about that gift being late. Unless she is a totally self-centered, ungrateful woman, she appreciated it even if she didnt' show it.

But 1 thing, even with your 2nd example, I still don't see the 'greatness' of your 'God' as you claimed it to be.
You claimed that God showed you the right thing to do by preventing you from doing something which you think it shouldn't be done in the first place.
Isn't the 2nd example you gave contradicted yourself?
If God's way was correct, the girl should have happily accepted your gift in the night and said something like "Thank God you gave me the gift in the night. I was so busy during the day and I wouldn't have felt so romantic/touched by your gift as it is in the night.". But no, she rejected it.
And you're still claiming it is the 'right' way?
I get what you're trying to say but your example is contradictory with your stance if you think logically.
uzyn, until now I didn't mention if it is my god or anyone's god. I am talking about just God. You see, I am not really into any religion, but I believe there is a God. So, please stop saying "my" God, "your" God because I don't differentiate which God. To me, it is just GOD.
As to why it is still right that the 2nd example is : the girl rejected it. Yes. here is the second half of the story I left out.
A few years later, I heard that she was engaged, and now she is in a legal divorce thingy without the "Happily Ever After".
See? and I did mentioned "showing me the way to do things correctly or trying to prevent me from doing something".
Let me state for the record, that I am not into any religion. I just believe in God. And don't ASSUME that I am chinese, you can just ASSUME which God I believe in.
I just believe in GOD.
kljs, sorry if my usage of "your" prior to my mentioning of the word "God" insults you. It wasn't my intention.
Neither was me intention to debate on religions.
My point is that, logically, your argument was flawed. It didn't make sense to make a conclusion with your earlier argument.
With your added bit, I guess it makes some sense now that had "God" not guide you, you would be the victim of the divorce.
Now that makes the argument complete and you can then conclude it with "God has showed me the right way once again".

Well, another thing that I forgot to mention is 'since that Valentine, I haven't talk to that girl even since.' And her problems with the divorce was even worst than expected. I heard it from another friend. 
uzyn: The greatness of God, yours or mine, is there. It doesn't need to be seen or held or proven. That's called faith.
Sometimes when things don't work out the way we want it to, i.e. a girl rejecting your Valentine's gift, that doesn't mean it's not 'right' and God is not with you.
Just my 2 cents.
Well, I understand what you mean ah pink, but from my point of view, I do believe God has a hand in the situation. Because when it happens, you can feel something is like pulling you away.
All I have to say is Buddha ain't a god. Buddhism is the only religion out of the big main ones that doesn't have one.
