actually, it is the fact........in order to stop the spreading of copyrighted material, the only way is to shut down the internet. Before there was an internet, the only way to spread these is by VHS...and VHS is cumbersome.......hueg in size...

Oh, really? Not on too many campuses anymore, or corporate networks, because the network admins will now be held culpable for anything pimply teens use their resources for. New laws force network providers, and moving forward, maybe even ISP's to self police copyright infringement. The technological answer is Safemedia's Clousou. Stomps on P2P

poops! technology will enforce the stronger laws, especially since network administrators will be held culpable. If they confiscate network hardware or take away federal grant money, p2p will be effectively blocked.
