The problem with Forrester's "plan" for taxes is that it requires a change to the State Constitution. Don't look for anything during the first year, and look for nothing the second year. It will be at least three years before his Constitutional change can work its way through the State Lege and then to the voters. That's assuming that it can get passed at all.
I believe the issue of consorting with criminals is a push. The state of politics in this state means that anyone remotely connected is up to their, um, elbows in it.
As to a lack of substance, it's sort of the way the Senate works. The new kid on the block doesn't get many chances, especially when he's in the minority. I do think Corzine could have at least been more vocal on a number of things. On the other hand, you have Forrester's record during the same time.
On the health plan, I'll agree with you. There are better ways to address health issues for all New Jerseyans.
Of course, I am a Corzine supporter, so my views on it are skewed. I appreciate your opinions. Just thought I'd stop by and maybe get some comments rolling for you.

XT, amplifying the lack of substance, I wouldn't have a problem with Corzine on that if he made the same argument you do. But he claims that he's accomplished great things for New Jersey from his minority, 1st term seat. Not a credible claim, and the evidence indicates he's been completely ineffective.
Voting lockstep in opposition to the President isn't a policy, it's a reflex. I want a governor who can formulate and execute a policy.
