A point of order: an NEA grant recipient is different than a professor and aren't strictly speaking comparable in this instance. I am guessing you are making a statement on the grounds that it is all taxpayer money, but a) not every person who recieves tax dollar operates under the same rules and b) as I have note on my site, professors are not 100% funded by tax dollars.
I point all this out simply as clarification.

Good point. What I was getting at is that while we all have rights to free speech, there's no obligation on the part of government to fund it.
