Hold on sec . . . the problems conservatives have with the Republican Party are legit. The party has squandered its opportunity to make a positive (and conservative) impact on domestic policy. Not only have they achieved little, they've managed to allow themselves to be tagged as extreme right-wingers. I only wish they were.
At what point is it acceptable for one part of a party to criticize another part? To me, it is when the one part is really no longer a part of the party.
It's always acceptable for one part of a party (is that like a party of the first part?) to criticize another. The GOP has a Grand Old History of doing just that. It's how we elected Presidents Johnson & Carter.
