So how long before I hand my entire paycheck over to the gov to pay for these? Is that objective #7?
I think if the Dems were honest their true vision for America, they probably wouldn't get much support.
In the meantime, it seems they'll be following the Kerry approach; telling people what they want to hear without explaining how we get there.
The real question I have is how the GOP will respond. Will they be on the defense or call out the Dems?
P.S. How do you achieve "Real Security" when you won't go to war or profile the enemy?
Actually, I think their 6-pointer is pretty honest. You don't have to read too deeply between the lines to see "We intend to nationalize U.S. health care."
The rest of it's just cynicism, given their actions of the past six years. Real security? Energy independence? Puhleeze!
Honest Leadership and Open Government = Taking advantage of six years of claiming the administration is corrupt. BS rhetoric.
Real Security = trying to make people who hate us, like us. That isn't ever going to happen.
Energy Independence = alternative fuels. They lack the reality of our dependence on fossil fuels.
Economic Prosperity & Educational Excellence = This one will be hard considering the economy is doing pretty well.
Healthcare System that Works for Everyone = what you said.
Retirement Security = Lets crank up this cradle to grave thing completely.
