"I was there" (in Dallas, that is):
J.D. Tippit (the cop Oswald killed) had a kid that went to school with my brother. We rode our bikes to his house (a few blocks away) and cars were parked solid in the street for blocks.
Officer MacDonald, the cop who captured Oswald, had a daughter in my class at school. I had been to their house for a party. At the party MacDonald showed us his gun (!). (all pre-Nov 22)
Jack Ruby's nephew rode the school bus with me in jr. high school. We taunted him.
Oswald was captured at the Texas Theater in Oak Cliff. We went there often as kids.
I saw the second gunman (OK, I made that up).
I was down the road in San Antonio that day. Kennedy came through on Wednesday.
But reminiscences aside, seems to me the FBI should've talked to YOU. I mean, you could've been in one of those conspiracy books. E.g. (or is this an i.e.?) Lincoln was assassinated at the Ford Theater. Kennedy's assassin was arrested at a theater that Phil used to hang around.
Coincidence? I think not!
